About this studio
Ballet Etc. Dance Institute is a non-competitive studio at 1525 S. Division St., Traverse City, Michigan, marking 30 years and offering dance education to students of all ages and abilities. Ballet is the core: a graded ladder runs from creative movement at ages 3-4 and pre-ballet through children's levels I-III, intermediate and advanced, young adult levels, and an adult ballet class. Pointe classes, always taken after a ballet class, run from ages 11-14 upward. The studio also teaches tap from age 3, jazz and modern, plus electives for ages 13 and up in partnering, variations, conditioning, hip hop, a men's class, musical theatre, Irish dance, stretch and lyrical/contemporary. There is an annual spring concert and summer classes with guest teachers.
