Dance classes in Charlotte, North Carolina
Charlotte Ballet is a professional company and school at 701 N. Tryon Street in Charlotte, North Carolina, presenting a subscription season that ranges from classical repertory to contemporary work, including a 2026/2027 production of Alice in Wonderland, plus touring. Its teaching arm, Charlotte Ballet Academy, offers professionally led classes for children and adults, from beginners to students training for professional careers, in ballet, contemporary, jazz and musical theatre. A year-round pre-professional program entered by audition adds pointe, variations, pas de deux, men's technique and modern, and a partnership with UNC Charlotte lets college students earn credit while training.
