About this studio
Robinson Ballet is a performance company and dance school based at 107 Union Street in Bangor, Maine, founded in 1977. The company performs in theatres across the state, presenting full-length classical ballets alongside contemporary and modern works, plus storybook ballets tailored for and performed by children; its season includes The Nutcracker, Mosaic and Play! The Children's Matinee. The School of Robinson Ballet focuses on quality dance training and offers classes in ballet, pointe, partnering, modern, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and tap, taught by experienced instructors and open to children and adults from age 3 upwards, with summer sessions and a Young Dancer Summer Workshop. Its ACHIEVE outreach program, including Dance In Schools and Hip to be Fit, brings dance education into area schools.
