ZORRO-THE LEGEND LIVES! Comes to Pocket Sandwich Theatre

Opening on January 3 and running through February 16 is ZORRO-The Legend Lives! by John Dawson. ZORRO is another of the Pocket's infamous popcorn-tossing comedy-spoofs, this one celebrating the 100th year of ZORRO, the fox, defender of the oppressed. Watch in awe the adventures (and misadventures) of the legendary, swashbuckling hero as he slashes many a 'Z', ducks plenty of popcorn and fights for the downtrodden masses and their rights to justice, equality,and all that stuff.
Supplemental Auditions Announced for Select Roles in RAGTIME at Music Theatre Of Denton

Music Theatre of Denton announces supplemental auditions for several roles in RAGTIME, the Broadway musical based on E.L. Doctorow's distinguished 1975 novel. With a book by Terrence McNally and music by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, RAGTIME is considered one of the best musicals on the past several decades. For Music Theatre of Denton, Kyle Christopher West directs with John Norine Jr. serving as musical director and Elizabeth Cantrell as stage manager. RAGTIME runs February 22nd - March 3rd.
Elevator Project Now Accepting Applications Online

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that Elevator Project applications are now being accepted for the 2019/2020 season. Applications will be accepted online at https://www.attpac.org/elevatorprojectapply through Thursday, January 31, 2019. The Elevator Project is a program that presents small, emerging and/or culturally specific Dallas-based arts groups and artists in performance space on the Center's campus in the Dallas Arts District.

Disney's NEWSIES Opens At Artisan Center Theater

DISNEY'S NEWSIES opens at Artisan Center Theater on Friday, January 4, 2019 and runs through Saturday, February 9, 2019. The 196 seat theater-in-the-round is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. Performances are at 7:30pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with 3:00pm matinees on Saturdays beginning January 12. Reserved seating tickets are $28.00 for adults, $26.00 for students and seniors, and $16.00 for children 12 and under.  Monday through Thursday tickets are $26.00 for adults and $14.00 for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at ArtisanCT.com, or by calling the box office at 817-284-1200.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center and Live Nation announced today that due to popular demand, a second show for Ali Wong: The Milk & Money Tour has been added and both shows will go on sale Friday, December 21 at 10 a.m. Comedian, writer and actress Ali Wong will take the stage at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 and 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Winspear Opera House in the downtown Dallas Arts District.
