FMPAT To Hold Auditions 6/15 For Adult Roles In RUTHLESS! The Musical

FMPAT will be holding auditions for the adult roles in Ruthless! The Musical on Monday June 15 at FMPATheatre. Auditions are by appointment only beginning at 7pm. Call backs will be scheduled as needed, tentatively set for Wednesday, June 17th.
Ruthless!, The Musical has book and lyrics by Joel Paley. Music is by Marvin Laird.Scott Kirkham is the executive producer of the show. It is directed & choreographed by Chris Robinson. Musical direction is by Adam C. Wright.

For more information, call 972-724-2147.Equity and Non Equity contracts available.For the auditions, bring a current headshot and resume and prepare two 16 bar songs (one up tempo & one ballad).(Please note some cast members will play multiple roles.)Judy/Ginger: Tina's mother, approximately 28- 40, a simple June Cleaver-type housewife (with similarities to Ellen Greene in Little Shop of Horrors), who is transformed into Ginger, a Norma Desmond-type Broadway diva. F below middle C to B Flat one octave above middle C, legit style.Sylvia St. Croix: The stereotypical "in-your-face" talent manager, who is obsessed with making Tina a star. For this role, they are looking to cast a man in drag. (There is no need to attend the audition in drag.) A one octave below middle C to E above middle C, Broadway Belt.
Miss Block (Also plays Miss Thorn): A lesbian reporter who wants to do a story about Ginger's past. This role is doubled with Miss Thorn.
Louise Lerman (Also plays Eve): The student who beats out Tina for the lead in the school play, she has limited talent and is larger than Tina. This role is played by an adult. Middle C to B Flat above middle C, Belt.Eve (Also plays Louise Lerman): Efficient personal assistant to Broadway star, Ginger. She wants Ginger's life, and copies her every mannerism. F# below middle C to C above middle C, Belt.
Lita Encore: Judy's adoptive mother, a theatre critic with a poison pen, who hates musicals. An Ethel Merman-type with a strong belt. E below middle C to D one octave above middle C.
