Hartford Stage presents Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, a psychological thriller adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from Robert Louis Stevenson’s novella. The production features Nathan Darrow in the role of Dr. Henry Jekyll, alongside a capable ensemble including Jennifer Bareilles, Sarah Chalfie, Nayib Felix, Omar Robinson, and Peter Stray. Directed by Melia Bensussen, this rendition explores the complex interplay of decency and depravity as Jekyll confronts his sinister alter-ego, Mr. Hyde, in a gripping struggle for control.
