Cleveland Play House presents the world premiere of the new musical, Freak The Mighty, a collaboration with Seattle Rep. Based on the beloved novel by Rodman Philbrick, the musical features a book and lyrics by Anthony Drewe and music by Ryan Fielding Garrett. Directed by Michael Barakiva, it follows the adventures of two outcasts, Maxwell Kane and Kevin “Freak” Avery, as they become a heroic duo, "Freak The Mighty," transforming their lives and the world around them. This production celebrates themes of friendship and resilience in the face of adversity through uplifting music and storytelling.
