Know Theatre of Cincinnati in collaboration with Madcap Puppets is very excited to announce: The Dragon. The production was conceived and will be directed by Irina Niculescu, known for her work combining actors, puppets, and opera. Local playwright and actor Alison Vodnoy has written a new adaptation of Eugene Schwarz's original 1943 play of the same name.

The College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Preparatory Department is proud to present the world premiere adaptation of 'The Last Dragon of Camelot,' a musical adapted for young actors. The authors of the musical are Alyn Cardarelli, a graduate of The Second City Training Center and co-founder of Emerald City Theatre, Chicago's largest theatre dedicated to families and Steve Goers, a versatile musician and performer who is a faculty member of the CCM Musical Theatre Department. They have revised the original show specifically for the CCM Prep Department Theatre Arts program by rewriting songs and script appropriate for middle school actors and singers.

Determined to enter the New York Musical Theatre Festival, these two witty, struggling writers attempt to create a new show in a mere three weeks. With the help of their friends,Susan and Heidi, they write a show about...writing a show. With songs like 'Secondary Characters' and 'Two Nobodies in New York', [title of show] is a hilarious love letter to Musical Theatre - a uniquely American art form - and to the joy of collaboration.
