Cast

Amia Korman
Caroline
(they/them) is a newly Chicago-based actor and recent graduate from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington. They were most recently seen as Éponine in Uptown Music Theater's Les Misérables. Other favorite credits include Rapunzel (Into The Woods), Schwartzy (Spelling Bee), Ariel (The Little Mermaid) and Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd). An award-winning vocalist and songwriter, Amia was recently named a Top 10 Finalist in the American Pops Orchestra NextGen National Vocal Competition. Offstage, Amia is a playwright & recording artist, releasing orchestral pop under the pseudonym Dolly In Slacks. Amia is delighted to be bringing another beautiful, rich story to life under the direction of Scott Shallenbarger! Thanks & love to cast, crew, Ben & family.
Jay Westbrook
Anthony
Jay Westbrook is a Chicago local and is delighted to be making his Citadel Theater debut. His recent appearances include Marcus in “Chicago Fire” (NBC) and Ayan in the independent short film Why Are You Scared of Me? Everyday hero at the Second City and most recent role being the Courier in the musical production of 1776 at the Marriott theater. He is an alumnus and regional winner of the August Wilson New Voices Competition and is thrilled to have worked on various commercial and feature projects! He expresses much gratitude to his family, community, and his reps at Gray Talent!
Arya Halbleib
Caroline Understudy
Arya Halbleib (she/her) is delighted to make her debut at Citadel Theatre. She recently graduated from UIC with a BFA in Acting, during which time she also studied at Eòlia ESAD in Barcelona as part of their study abroad program. Recent theatre credits include U/S Winnifred in Witch and two staged readings, Company’s Coming and Problem Play (The Artistic Home) and Mariana in Measure for Measure (Forest Park Theatre). Other credits include Sade in Marat/Sade and Ani in Gloria(UIC).In her free time she is either traveling to Spain (or dreaming of going back to Spain) or crocheting to fill the remaining time. Arya is represented by Engage Artists Agency in LA.
Gino J. Hernandez
Anthony Understudy
Gino J. Hernandez (he/him), understudy for Anthony, is thrilled to be working with the Citadel Theatre in their production of, “I and You”. He received his education at Northern Illinois University, where he received his theatre training. His recents credits include “Lyle the Crocodile” and “The Giver” with GreatWorks Theatre Company, and “The Grimmest of Tales” with Inkwell Arts. He’s grateful for his family and friends for all their support in his career, and he’s grateful for the experiences that have brought him here.
