This satirical comedy explores the manners and values of an overly-privileged, Northeastern family during the 1970’s. Part-time playwright, John announces he has written a play he has entitled "The Cocktail Hour," but his family is not happy to hear the news. Knowing that all of John's scripts are autobiographical, John's father, Bradley, fears it will cast the family in a bad light. His mother, Ann, would rather he just write a book. His sister, Nina, takes insult at not receiving a larger role. Over cocktails, domestic battles slide into hilarious inebriation. Performances at the Fargo-Moorehead Community Theatre.
