STORY JAM features true, personal storytelling duets from six incredible storytellers, plus musical creations by the extraordinary Ian Maksin!Join Story Jam for another beautiful night of live storytelling by six fantastic tellers Lily Be, Jacoby Cochran, Marya Frankel, Connor Gorman, Reba Meshulam, and Binkey Tolefreewith music by renowned cellist Ian Maksin.After each phenomenal story, world-famous cello sensation Ian Maksin will create a unique musical creation for each story. He is a musical phenom who uses high-tech looping and tracking technology while improvising over developed musical themes.With an engaging and diverse cast of phenomenal storytellers and a musical experience like no other, this live storytelling event is perfect for lovers of live music or shows like The Moth. The combination of duet (or duologue) stories woven (or braided) in partnership by two talented tellers and improvised cello compositions will make for an unforgettable and unique evening! In addition to their monthly shows, Story Jam teaches storytelling classes, workshops, and training sessions for groups and individuals.
