King Lear is a production of William Shakespeare's classic play presented by Babes With Blades Theatre Company, directed by BWBTC ensemble member Alison Dornheggen. The story follows Lear as he divides his kingdom among his three daughters through a contest of declarations of love, and the chaos, greed, and betrayal that ensue when his youngest daughter Cordelia fails to meet his expectations. Parallel to Lear's suffering, his friend the Earl of Gloucester is manipulated by one son to turn against the other. Select performances will be available for streaming.
