King Lear tells the complicated story of a king who divides his kingdom into thirds for his three daughters and the unforeseen struggles from this decision's aftermath. His unraveling is paralleled by the nefarious journey of a jealous Edmund, who seeks to overtake his nobleman father's affairs from his half brother. Directed by Alison Dornheggen with fight choreography by Jess Pennachio, the cast includes Lynne Baker as King Lear, along with Kim Fukawa, Carrie Hardin, Morgan Manasa, Jennifer L. Mickelson, Jennifer Mohr, Thomas Russell, Kathrynne Wolf, Kim Boler, Sarah Cushman, Dani De la Rosa, Brandi Jiminez Lee, Sophia Lanza-Weil, Madeline Meyer, Rachel Sleek Bañuelos, Ahlora Victoria and Brittani Yawn. This production concludes Babes With Blades Theatre Company's 2026 season.
