Ashland Avenue is a world premiere play by Lee Kirk, directed by Susan V. Booth. Set against the backdrop of a struggling family-run video store, the story revolves around Pete, the long-time owner, and his daughter Sam, who has different aspirations. Starring Jenna Fischer and Francis Guinan, the play explores themes of familial duty and the shifting priorities as caring for aging parents collides with the pursuit of personal dreams. This production marks the opening of Goodman Theatre's Centennial Season.
