Blood Memory, written and performed by Dael Orlandersmith and directed by Neel Keller, is a world premiere exploring the choices we face in moments of discomfort. The play dives into the human experience, questioning whether to engage with challenging scenarios or retreat to familiar beliefs. Through her signature poetic style, Orlandersmith prompts audiences to reflect on the common threads that unify us, amidst divisive forces. This thought-provoking piece runs from May 2 to May 31, 2026, at the Goodman Theatre.
