I live in Naperville IL, a Chicago suburb. Theater and the arts is a passion. I have been to almost every theater venue in Chicago and the regional theaters including Drury Lane Oakbrook, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Paramount in Aurora. On a personal note I have been involved with The Summer Place community theater in Naperville IL for more than 50 years as a performer. I have also performed at other venues in the area. This opportunity to let a larger audience know about the state of theater and the amazing talent in the Chicago area is an honor.

- Review: THE SOUND OF MUSIC at Paramount Theatre - Sound of Music is a very personal story. My father served in World War II and was at the liberation of Dachau. During my parents involvement with Civil Rights, we had a Swastika painted on our garage. Edelweis was my Mother's favorit song and it was during her memorial service. I have performed in SOM 3 times.
- Review: A CHORUS LINE at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace, IL - I have seen A Chorus Line on the professional stage 15 times beginning in 1978. I was much younger then and this show hit a nerve with me as it did a lot my friends - not just those involved in theatre. As I've grown older, the story line is so much more touching. When I reviewed this, I met the parents of a member of the cast. He was just starting out. This show was telling his story. He is now in New York getting reading for his Broadway debut. Many people have told how much they loved this review.
- Review: STEEL MAGNOLIAS at Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace, IL - What a wonderful work depicting these strong women and how they deal with their lives. It's based on the playwright's sister.
