The Uptown Underground, 4707 N. Broadway, is open for business with five nights of programing this Spring, from comedy to magic to music to dance. Uptown Underground features retro-entertainment, cabaret, burlesque and jazz, and is the new home of the long-running weekly hit The Kiss Kiss Cabaret. Jenn A. Kincaid and Chris O. Biddle are the co-owners of the Uptown Underground as well as co-producers of The Kiss Kiss Cabaret. For more information and complete schedule of events visit www.UptownUnderground.net.

Located below the Broadway Ave. street level, the Uptown Underground is a 7,000 square foot, retro-themed adult entertainment (meaning geared towards an 18+ audience) venue with a 150-seat Moonshine Mainstage and a 50-seat Starlight Lounge. Uptown Underground features a full service bar, vintage 1920s arcade games and other jazz-age treats for patrons. The Uptown Underground is located in a building built in 1926 and is the former location of The Equator Club (a reggae club), as well as a rumored Al Capone nightclub.

"Spring is such an exciting time of growth in Chicago and you can see that happening on both stages of the Uptown Underground," said Biddle. "These shows represent the best burlesque, comedy, magic, variety, drag and dance that can be found in the city. We couldn't imagine a sharper, sexier starting lineup at the Uptown Underground. No matter what night you visit us, you're going to see something sure to amaze!"

Uptown Underground features performances on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Programming will expand to 7 nights a week in June, 2015. The complete schedule of event and show descriptions is below and at www.UptownUnderground.net.
