Children's Theatre of Charlotte will launch a search process for a new Executive Director in January. Bruce LaRowe informed the CTC's Board of Directors in October that he planned to step down at the end of December.

The board has named Linda Reynolds - currently Managing Director of Development, Marketing and Sales - as the Theatre's Interim Executive Director.

"We are grateful Linda has agreed to serve as Interim Executive Director during the search process," said Jami Farris, CTC's 2013-15 Board Chair. "Linda has been a member of the management team since 2003. During that time she has been integrally involved with and a key factor in the Theatre's continued vitality and growth in the community. The Board is excited to see the direction the Theatre takes under her leadership."

A search committee - co-led by Farris and HR Committee Chair Marcus Rafiee - has enlisted the services of HR consultant Susan B. Manning to assist in facilitating the search and hiring process. The committee is comprised of board members Cynthia Bush, Ashley Joseph, Scott Sutton, Emeritus members Cynthia Lank and Robin Branstrom, and director/actor/theatre educator Dennis Delamar.

Children's Theatre of Charlotte is a national leader among theatres for young audiences, serving nearly 300,000 young people and families annually with professional productions and innovative education initiatives.

Children's Theatre of Charlotte is supported, in part, with an Operating Grant from the Arts & Science Council, Charlotte-Mecklenburg, Inc. and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
