Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT to Open at EPAC This Summer

American Idiot opened in 2009 at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre and in 2010 moved to Broadway, where it went on to win two Tony awards and a Grammy during its 122-show run. Adapted from a concept album by successful recording artists Green Day, American Idiotfollows the lives of three young men searching for meaning in their lives as they keep running into troubles at every turn.
Upper Darby Summer Stage to Present BYE BYE BIRDIE, 7/13-15

Theatre Under The Trees to Present AS YOU LIKE IT This Summer

? For its 18th summer, Theatre Under The Trees is adding a modern, musical twist to the classic Shakespeare comedy, As You Like It. Theatre Under The Trees has always brought unique, show-specific music to York County audiences thanks to co-founder, music, and voice director Gayle Eubank. Eubank will be composing original music for the five songs included in the play, taking inspiration from the late 1980's.  These songs will be performed by Strange Oaths, a five part band created just for the show.

Totem Pole Playhouse to Present FOREVER PLAID

Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania's premiere summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, presents the return of one of the most successful musicals in playhouse's 66-year history, Forever Plaid, running from June 17 through July 3. This all-new production is directed and choreographed by Christine O'Grady, who choreographed Totem Pole's critically-acclaimed production, Shenandoah, last season and audience favorite, Godspell, the previous summer. Ms. O'Grady has cast four current students from the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM), Louis Griffin, Derek Kastner, Stavros Koumbaros, and Gabe Wrobel as the 'Four Plaids' - a four-part close harmony singing group in the tradition of the Four Freshman, the Four Lads, the Four Aces, and the Hi-Lo's. The show features over 20 hit songs from the 1950s including such classics as: "Three Coins in the Fountain," "Heart and Soul," "Moments to Remember," "Perfidia," and "Love is a Many Splendored Thing." The show, which is being produced by Theatre A Go-Go, Inc., is sponsored by Edward Jones and Richards Orthopaedic Center. Franklin County Visitors Bureau serves as the sponsor for the 2016 season.
