In the weeks to come, many will embark on scenic car rides through the Pocono Mountains to enjoy the seasonal fall foliage and kids will be daydreaming about this year's Halloween costumes. Camelback Resort delivers big on fall fun for all, offering stunning views to witness the changing leaves from the TreeTop Flyer Scenic Lift, and the launch of the regions most epic, kid-friendly, haunted house, Kartrite's Kurse.

Kartrite's Kurse

New in 2016 is the launch of Kartrite's Kurse - a family friendly, not-so-scary haunted house, packed with the perfect level of "BOO" for kids 6-16 years old. Join Kartrite Van Der Berris, the epic explorer who founded Camelback Resort in the Pocono Mountains, on an eerie expedition to faraway lands filled with pirates, skeletons and creatures that slither, crawl and fly. Kartrite's Kurse is a modern-day animatronic wonder, with 12 spooky yet fun-filled adventures set to excite explorers of all ages. The adventure begins along a torch-lit path from Trails End Pub & Grille, located at Camelback Lodge, to the Glen Lodge where a harrowing adventure begins as guests experience and explore the many doomed expeditions of Kartrite. The region's newest haunted house opens Oct. 6, hours of operation are available online at camelbackmountainadventures.com. Guests staying at Camelback Lodge will receive up to four complementary tickets with a room reservation on dates the haunted house is operating. Lodge guests can further enjoy many exclusive Halloween festivities, including arcade, trick or treating, costume parties, crafts and activities. A full schedule is available online. General admission tickets to Kartrite's Kurse are $14.99. Add to the chilling experience with a ride on the Appalachian Express Mountain Coaster and 1,000-foot Dual Zip Line, both of which will be operating after dark in October.
