David Jackson, veteran of four Broadway shows (Eubie!, My One And Only, La Cage Aux Folles, and Grand Hotel) makes his 54 Below solo debut. The original “New Rhythm Boy” from My One And Only and an original “Jimmy” from Grand Hotel, he will tell the story of his journey from Philadelphia to New York City, his dream of being in a Tommy Tune musical, and on a magical night dancing with Sandy Duncan at the Tony Award® Ball. Join him and his special guest, David White (Five Guys Named Moe and Grand Hotel) for an evening of songs by Eubie Blake, Noble Sissle, Andy Razaf, Leiber and Stoller, Duke Ellington, George and Ira Gershwin, and more.

The intimate cabaret space at 54 Below was transformed into Berlin’s Grand Hotel on Monday night. The kick-off performance of GRAND HOTEL: THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST REUNION CONCERT on February 26th was exuberant, with much of the star-studded original cast reviving their roles.

Patrons of 54 Below glimpsed a special piece of New York City history with its presentation of DAVID JACKSON & DAVID WHITE: COTTON CLUB CONFIDENTIAL on February 15, 2024. Each a Broadway veteran in their own right, David Jackson and David White brought the famed ambiance of the Cotton Club of the 1920’s and 30’s to life in 21st century midtown Manhattan.
