Comedian and nightlife icon MURRAY HILL, "the hardest working middle-aged man in show business," gives the much needed gift of holiday cheer and entertainment to New York City with his legendary Yuletide tradition: A MURRAY LITTLE CHRISTMAS at LE POISSON ROUGE, Saturday, December 18th, with two shows at 7:00pm & 9:15pm. Expect an evening of hilarious and wacky skits with the cast, a sleigh full of cheesy holiday songs, plenty of nuts, fruits and tree trimming. Murray also promises a few tender moments when he sings his signature "Have Yourself a Murray Little Christmas."

When Murray was a kid (he was the same height as he is now but had a beard), he was relentlessly teased for being "different." This year, Murray and the gang are going back in time, in a theatrical sense, to Murray's very own childhood high school PS 0 ("zero") to perform in a holiday school recital to get the message out to kids around the world, that there is nothing wrong with being different. Murray and his performer friends, who were also picked on, learn that being different is something to celebrate and a great reason to put on a show!.

Murray recently shot a video for the "It Gets Better" Project (https://www.youtube.com/murrayhillnyc) which celebrats the diversity of his audience. The "It Gets Better" video project was recently started to communicate to LGBT youth who are being bullied and are thinking of taking their own life, that life does get better. Murray will touch on this subject through a re-created story of RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER while wearing a full-bodied plushie outfit. Rudy gets picked on for being different, but it turns out that Rudolph's uniqueness not only saves the day, but saves Christmas.

Murray will debut "Love you, kids" an original song he wrote just for the holiday show with pianist Paul Leschen. The rousing, joyful song will get the audience on their feet singing along and leave everyone feeling hopeful and part of the family, which is what the holidays are all about for Mr. Hill. That's showbiz.

This year's special guests:
DIRTY MARTINI (international burlesque legend), the bawdy songstress BRIDGET EVERETT (Our Hit Parade), MOISTY THE SNOWMAN (Bradford Scobie), SEBASTIAN THE ELF (a.k.a. CARMINE COVELLI), THE LESBIAN OVERTONES (all lesbian a cappella group), with live swinging holiday music from THE BRIAN NEWMAN TRIO (featuring BRIAN NEWMAN on trumpet, PAUL LESCHEN on piano, Ben Clines on drums, Pete Brindler on bass). SANTA CLAUS is scheduled to appear.

This non-returnable gift of holiday entertainment captures the joy and jubilation, the Murray-ment and magnificence of the holiday season (all denominations, orientations and sexual proclivities will be celebrated). Have Yourself a Murray Little Christmas now, you'll be glad you did.

A MURRAY LITTLE CHRISTMAS plays SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18 at 7:00PM & 9:15PM at LE POISSON ROUGE (158 Bleecker St, btw Thompson and Sullivan). General admission tickets are $25.00 and VIP tickets are $50.00 and include priority seating and a Murray Hill exclusive merchandise item! Tickets can be purchased at http://lepoissonrouge.com or 866 55 TICKETS. The box office is open daily from 5pm until 12am.
