Influenced, a satire of New York City's Upper East Side "influencer" culture, will be available on digital platforms July 10, 2026, from Brainstorm Media and Menemsha Films. The movie hails from writer/star Jill Kargman and director Rachel Israel.
In Influenced, renowned social media influencer Dzanielle (Kargman) navigates fake friends among the Black card-swiping, workout-addicted Upper East Siders of New York. In her comedic quest for a million followers, she finds her first real new friend and her true self.
Kargman leads an all-star ensemble cast that includes Tony nominee Laura Bell Bundy, Justin Bartha, Eugene Cordero, Clara Wong, Nathan Lee Graham, Ellie Biron, Judd Goodstein, Christine Taylor, Jenny Mollen, Mindy Cohn, Jessica Capshaw, David Krumholtz and Dan Hedaya. The movie also features cameos by Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Matt Damon.
Produced by Mandy Ward, Steve Ast, S.J. Allocco-St.Germain, and Arielle Haller-Silverstone, the movie hit theaters on May 8 and will be available to watch on Apple, Amazon, Fandango at Home, YouTube, and all major cable and satellite providers beginning July 10.
