De Nederlandse Opera presents Les vêpres siciliennes from September 10 to October 3.

The work is a real grand opéra: a historical event, in five acts with large-scale ballets. This original French-language version is directed by Christof Loy, who is making his debut with DNO, and conducted by Paolo Carignani. Loy and Carignani have previously worked together on Verdi productions with Oper Frankfurt. Four interNational Singers are making their DNO debut in the leading roles: American soprano Emily Magee (Hélène), German tenor Burkhard Fritz (Henri), Swiss baritone Alexander Marco-Buhrmester (Montfort) and Romanian bass Balint Szabo (Procida).

Pricing ranges from € 15.00 to € 110.00. Read more at www.het-muziektheater.nl.
