Country Rebel, Country Road Mgmt. & 'Small Town Big Deal' to Launch CountryRoadTV.com

Country Rebel, the world's largest online country music network, has partnered with Country Road Management and TV's nationally-syndicated program, "Small Town Big Deal" to launch a new online/OTT network, CountryRoadTV.com.

Similar to Netflix and Hulu, subscribers can select and watch episodes and DVD content on-demand, or tune in for live-streaming events, such as concerts, interviews, and more. Subscriptions for the service and accompanying app are available for $9.99 per month allowing access to thousands of hours of exclusive programming focused on country music, the country lifestyle, and values--a common mission to all partners of the network.

Country Road Management, an offshoot company formed by brothers Ian, Jared, and Adam Black to preserve, manage and monetize content produced by Gabriel Communications ("Larry's Country Diner," "Country's Family Reunion," and more), conceptualized CountryRoadTV.com and began testing it with Gabriel consumers last year.

"We discovered really quickly that fans were hungry for, and willing to pay for quality, country-based programming" explains Jared. "So, we began seeking partners to launch the network with a wider audience and cement its future success."

Enter the dynamic San Diego-based brothers, Kevin and Darin Blue, seasoned entrepreneurs with 24 years of collective digital marketing experience. Driven by their strong passion for country music, the "Blues Brothers" launched Country REBEL in 2014 as a vehicle to sell a clothing line that PROMOTED the spirit of the country lifestyle. In just over four years, their website morphed into the top-ranking country music website with 11 million engagements per week on its vast network of country music sites and social fanpages.

A link to CountryRoadTV.com will be made available on Country Rebel. The CountryRoadTV.com app will also allow fans to search for their favorite artists or stories, and will pull up episodes that fit the search terms. Country REBEL will also provide proprietary digital monetization strategies from the "Blues Brothers'" extensive background and experience with online marketing.

"Because of the tremendous growth of our audience fan base, Country REBEL is always looking for high-quality content to keep fans engaged," states Darin. "We wanted unique programming that other outlets don't offer. In the world of media and entertainment, we have quickly learned that content is king. Kevin and I were very excited to connect with the Black brothers and be introduced to the CountryRoadTV.com platform. We firmly believe CountryRoadTV.com is now the most compelling platform for folks who appreciate the values and lifestyle of country living and country music."

To bolster the content of the platform to include more lifestyle programming, CountryRoadTV.com pulled in a third partner, "Small Town Big Deal." The TV series, hosted by Emmy award-winning Jann Carl (former "Entertainment Tonight" anchor) and creator of "Small Town Big Deal" and former agricultural industry CEO, Rodney Miller, is an unapologetic celebration of real-life stories from across America: one-of-a-kind events, amazing people, and some downright wacky traditions--a country-centric travel and lifestyle show wrapped up into one series.

"We are extremely excited to be able to share our amazing stories with an even larger audience and to play such an integral part in the the new CountryRoadTV.com platform," says Jann Carl. "It is simply incredible to see a streaming network dedicated specifically to the interests of those living in rural America and to those living the country lifestyle, whatever their ZIP code!"
