The performances will be held at the Centennial Park Bandshell and is being presented in partnership with Metro Parks and Recreation. The City of Nashville through its Metro Parks have launched successful partnerships in presenting classical music (Symphony) and classical theater (Shakespeare) in a relaxed, relatable and easily accessible setting and DTT is thrilled to partner with Metro Parks in presenting classical dance as another way for the city and the entire community to experience live performing arts up-close and personal. New York artist Debbie Davies & German artist Julius Schön brought 'The I Love You Project' to Berlin during the 48-Hour Neukölln Festival in June 2013 at Schillerpalais Gallery. Now Davies and Schön return to Schillerpalais to exhibit portraits of the participants photographed in the Spring, using a digital microscope camera. Davies will also exhibit her earlier digital microscope self portraits, including some erotica. Paper assemblages from her 'This Page Intentionally Left Blank' series using recycled materials will also be exhibited during this two-person show September 14-27.

The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (JKO) School at American Ballet Theatre has received a $2 million donation from an anonymous donor to expand the School's training programs, fund operations and establish additional scholarship programs. The donation, announced yesterday by Rachel Moore, CEO of American Ballet Theatre, represents the largest gift made to the JKO School to date.

Smuin Ballet's Montana tour will play today and tomorrow, September 8 - 9 in Michael Smuin's hometown of Missoula at the Montana Repertory Theatre and September 13 at the Mansfield Theatre, Great Falls. Tickets are available by calling each venue's box office (see info at the end of the release). The Great Falls performance will benefit McLaughlin Research Institute for Biomedical Sciences, with which Smuin Ballet shares a close connection.
