To mark the eagerly awaited return of the show to North America, ending a four-year absence, Riverdance - The 20th Anniversary World Tour  features new costumes, new lighting, new projections and the addition of a brand new number, "Anna Livia," featuring the female members of the Irish dance troupe in an acapella hard-shoe number.

Cape Cod Theatre Company will remount it's acclaimed 2008 production of Little Women with its original stars Caitlin Mills (Spelling Bee, Suessical) and Richard Jay Sullivan (La Cage, Class Act) as Jo March and Professor Bhaer.  Anthony Logan Cole (Les Miserables, Jekyll and Hyde, Song Of Solomon), who is currently standing by for Uncle Joey in Off-Broadway's Full House-The Musical will join the cast as Laurie.  The production is directed and choreographed by Broadway's Terry Gene Noegoet (Hello Dolly, My Fair Lady) with Music Direction by Cristina Dinella (Defendant Maurice Chevalier).

Merrimack Repertory Theatre to Host Annual Auction, 5/16

This spring, Merrimack Repertory Theatre (MRT) will celebrate one of its most successful seasons and look ahead to the future at its annual fundraising event, the 2016 Set the Stage Celebration. The evening will feature musical performances by Benjamin Scheuer, whose performance of The Lion kicked off Sean Daniels' inaugural year as MRT's artistic director and broke several box office records. Scheuer will perform a mix of songs from The Lion and others previously unheard by MRT audiences. Joining Scheuer will be Charissa Bertels, whose one-woman musical, My 80-Year-Old Boyfriend, was recently announced as the closing production of MRT's 2016-17 Season. Bertels is currently on the national tour of the Broadway musical If/Then.

Huntington Theatre Company, the 2013 recipient of the Regional Theatre Tony Award and Boston magazine's Best Theatre of 2013 and 2014, announces that playwright Bryony Lavery's acclaimed adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House will complete its 2016-2017 Season. The adaptation of this iconic classic will be directed by Melia Bensussen (Awake and Sing!, Luck of the Irish), and the play joins the previously announced six titles in the 2016-2017 Season.

Playwright and producer Cassie M. Seinuk is remounting her highly successful production of Eyes Shut. Door Open. Having debuted last summer with Wax Wings Productions, Eyes Shut. Door Open. is a modern-day Cain and Abel tale set in New York City. The play focuses on the curiosities of human relationships and explores the various dynamics within the vibrant and ever-evolving SoHo art scene. This remount will feature the original design team and cast: Victor Shopov, Michael Underhill, and Melissa DeJesus. Eyes Shut. Door Open. will be on stage at Warehouse XI, an event and gallery space in the heart of Somerville's Union Square, from May 12 - May 26, 2016.
