Nope.

Won two lottery seats for tonight (Saturday, 5/21), and turns out, I thought my friend wanted to go and... he does not, so on the fence whether to drive in and go for it, or try and sell the pair and come solo some other time. So if anyone is willing to buy them for the $100 I paid, I will transfer them to you as soon as they show up. The only catch, by the time I know where the seats are, I will have already caved and drove in to NYC myself. So you need to pay before you know where they are. By the time I know the seats, I'll be in NYC, unless someone buys them. Mr. Saturday Night

We might have to move our tickets from tonight to August due to a medical issue. Any cast changes/outages between now and then? Also might just move to a weekday but husband prefers a weekend night.

If it matters to you, Shoshana Bean is out tonight (and the rest of the week) due to COVID, so if you were wanting to catch her it would be better to move.

Thank you!! I would have been a bit sad about that insert for sure.

FYI, Tari Kelly is Bean's understudy.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Someone I know got to see Tatiana Wechsler in her Broadway debut, and from what I hear, she was excellent.

We actually were able to make it tonight and Tatiana was on - she was indeed excellent! Easily could have been a principal.

His signing onto this would have to be approved by producers, otherwise he would be might be liable for breach of contract, which I am assuming is at least for a 6 month run. Based on current sales, Mr. Saturday Night isn't going anywhere through at least labor day. So if I had to guess Before goes into pre-production in mid-July, with plans to start shooting in September, right after Mr. Saturday Night Closes.

You've posted this several times -- and you are wrong each time.  The article gives no indication as to when the Apple TV series shoots --- but I can assure you that it does not conflict with his term commitment to MR SATURDAY NIGHT, so there is nothing that needs to be "approved".

The article doesn't indicate where the series is filming or what the timing of filming is so it's entirely possible it might film in NY and not interfere with the show. Apple seems to film its shows in all different locations. But it also says Limited Series which is usually 6-8 episodes so I guess a brief break might also be possible for a few weeks.

Also, his other show Monsters at Work(voiceover only) was just renewed yesterday so I don't expect that to interfere with this show either.

I don't think people on this board understand how TV works. This new Apple TV+ show is not going to mess with Billy Crystal's contract whether it's six months, nine months or a year. Sometimes shows have more than a year between announcement and when they begin filming. We all know that the show will close when Billy's contract ends (at the latest...) but this Apple TV+ show does nothing to alter that timeline.

I got to see tonight’s performance, my first time seeing this show.

This was a very pleasant return trip to the Nederlander.
Billy Crystal… don’t get me started! But really, he’s everything I expected from him and so much more.
I also loved both Shoshana and Chasten. Can they respectively replace Feldstein in Funny Girl and Scott in Company, please, when the time is right?

This feels like a complete 180 compared to JRB’s other works, good to know there’s another side of him that’s just as effective. Rando’s direction is also rock solid.
My only qualms with Mr. Saturday Night were the rather-empty orchestrations (adding a few reeds could have done the trick), and both Graff and Paymer’s subpar performances. Graff reminded me a lot of Julie Halston in Tootsie for some reason.

The show clearly caters to the Crystal diehards and the Tootsie demographic who flocked to see that one. As long as Crystal plays Buddy Young Jr., Mr. Saturday Night will surely “stick around” on Broadway.

I saw this last night as well with my Dad and we both really enjoyed it. I was interested in seeing the show after seeing their Tony performance!

We won the lottery and were given left orchestra seats F17 and F19 which offered a great view! They were marked partial but I don’t believe we missed anything.

Billy Crystal is absolutely fantastic. You can tell he’s having the time of his life on stage! The entire cast was a riot. I had never seen Shoshana Bean live (I used to listen to her CD superhero all the time, and have seen a bootleg or two of her in Wicked). She sounds SO much like Idina both in her speaking and singing voice.

I definitely preferred the first act to the second; some of the second act seemed like it could have been cut, but,  we were laughing throughout the entire show. A great night at the theatre!

The show clocked in at 2:35 last night, so it’s been trimmed a bit since previews began.

I saw the show a few weeks ago right before they went on that 10 day hiatus. I think it would be fair to say I am exactly their target demographic so not surprisingly, I absolutely loved it. Billy did a brief Q&A with the audience after the show. You can just see being on stage, interacting with the audience, getting the laughs, how much that absolutely gives him life. His timing and how he delivers the payoff to the joke, even if you've heard the joke before, you can't help but crack up all over again. You can't teach that. A true comedic legend.

Saw the matinee today and I thought the show overall was quite solid and very well done. It does play to Crystal's fan base and an older demographic. Would not be surprised if he does a short tour of this in 2023 when he's available (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle?).

In Crystal's closing night speech, he talks about how much this show meant to him. Also said towards the end from one of the producers is that there might be a future home for this show. Makes me think he does an LA engagement next year sometime.

Happy trails to what was a wonderful show and showcase for a true master of comedy. Hope I have the chance to catch this again in L.A. if that materializes.

I didn't love the show but it did have its charm and was an enjoyable night. I will always be very happy I got to see Billy Crystal perform live so it was a worthwhile experience for me. I won't be surprised to see some sort of LA engagement or West Coast tour sometime.

I have been told this was filmed last week for distribution by Broadway HD. Can anyone confirm?
