I only have room to add one more show to my quick NYC trip. I'm deciding between Caroline, or Change or Mrs. Doubtfire and wondering which do you suggest?

I'm also seeing Little Shop of Horrors and Company.

Thanks!

I’d tip the scale to Caroline or Change, though they are both diametrically different shows and depends on if you are feeling pure musical comedy or a dramatic operetta.

Purely because it's a limited run, I'd say Caroline, or Change.

But honestly, you can't go wrong with either.

I was in your shoes this past weekend, and picked Caroline, or Change. I wish I would have picked Mrs. Doubtfire instead.

I found Caroline to be one of the most boring shows I’ve ever seen. Would pick Doubtfire in a heartbeat.

Caroline, Or Change for sure. Did not care for Doubtfire at all really. It's fun, but Caroline is a fantastic piece of theatre that will stick with you.

Totally depends on what you want to see - both are really great productions (having seen both).

Caroline is a work of art but is fairly deep and intense (with moments of levity), mostly for adults, and a brilliant but complex score.

Mrs. Doubtfire doesn't say much but is super-fun, family-friendly, has some show-stopping choreography and toe-tapping numbers.

You really can't go wrong with either one.

Now thinking of a mashup in which Mrs. Doubtfire is a maid in Louisiana, doing laundry in a sweltering basement.

See Diana! Skip both, both bad choices.

After seeing both , I'd see Mrs. Doubtfire again in a heartbeat. Can't say the same about Caroline.  I respect and acknowledge this musical but you can't pay me to sit through the first act all over again.

You couldn’t pick two more different musicals haha.

I actually saw both last week. Both are fantastic. It all depends on your mood, but if I had to pick one, I’d choose ‘Caroline, or Change.’ It truly is a masterpiece. Plus it features some really stellar performances and spectacular voices.

Then again, you don’t want to miss Rob McClure’s tour de force in ‘Mrs. Doubtfire.’ This is a really hard decision lol…
