Unsinkable Molly Brown!  Feb 12 2020, 02:17:22 PM

It's a hit! Get your tickets while you can. I think the show should be a bit shorter, hopefully they won't cut the dancing numbers though. They are pure heaven. The cast and the orchestra were flawless.

I saw the show tonight with a fellow BroadwayWorld legend and we really enjoyed the show. Kathleen Marshall was taking notes in the audience...the entire cast was flawless, Beth Malone surprised me. The 2 4 1 ticket promotion is sold out throughout the whole run, but there are rush tickets available (sometimes, because they were sold out on Sunday), the show needs to be a bit shorter, but overall it was really a great show with some fantastic moments. I loved it.

For those looking for restaurant recommendations, I love eating around the Lower East Side.

-Indian food: Mughlai at 6 Clinton Street

-Waffles: Waffles and Dinges at 15 AVE. B

-Seafood: Lamia's Fish Market on AVE. B

-BBQ/Argentine food: Balvanera 152 Stanton Street

Also very close to Chinatown, and to the Essex Market where you can any type of food, and I highly recommend to try the cupcakes at Sweet Sunshine Bakery.

Hope it helps!

Sad News: Ann Crumb has died  Nov 1 2019, 02:39:57 PM

A true legend and Broadway DIVA. I highly recommend everyone to listen to Aspects if you are not familiar with it. To sing that score so many times a week must be challenging to say the least.

LuPone on Sondheim, ALW, Laurents, Prince and more  Oct 25 2019, 01:06:15 AM

I have met people that worked with her and they said the most horrible things about her behavior...the fact that someone said they only heard positive things about her is laughable. I won't say who that person is because he is currently working on Broadway and he is trying to make a living, he is not a star or a performer but had to deal with her backstage and would go home crying every night.

She is delusional and disgusting

Not sure what happened to the demographic that reads this site, but everyone disappointed that Lady Gaga isn't doing this, guess what? More seats for me! These ladies are very talented and I am certainly more interested in seeing her than seeing Michelle Pfeiffer butchering this amazing score.

2 show slots, not a lot to see.  Mar 16 2019, 12:56:08 AM

Go to The Prom and then My Fair Lady or Merrily?

TKTS Booths Question  Aug 19 2018, 03:48:22 AM

Isn't the location at the South Street Seaport the best to go to in this situation?

Collins / Evans  Aug 9 2018, 05:50:50 PM

It was a fun play, not terrible at all, but definitely much more interesting due to the stars in it.

Where is this? Off Bway? NYC? London?

Collins / Evans  Aug 9 2018, 05:30:06 PM

They did press together, watch them on Larry King on youtube.

I always enjoy reading After Eight's comments...totally agreed. If it failed to engage me and entertain me, it's an F! If I can't wait to leave a show, it's an F! The end.

Collins / Evans "Legends" - anyone ever see this?  Aug 4 2018, 03:37:52 PM

It was a treat, I had to see it twice. Both stars were glamorous, wearing great gowns, the physical fight was hilarious, the whole play flew by and it was funny and witty and bitchy. The interview they both did on Larry King Live was legendary also. Linda is such a sweet woman, Joan also was great in this...both women looked amazing in it and I feel that both were great stage actresses.

1 ticket for MOULIN ROUGE tonight (7/14 at 8pm)  Jul 14 2018, 06:19:50 PM

Sorry, is that in NYC?

Sally Bowles Portrayals  Apr 23 2018, 02:25:07 AM

For anyone to compare Natasha Richardson's performance to Liza's, it's a huge insult. Liza is legendary for playing that role so well, the fact that she is an amazing singer and dancer made it even better. She is not supposed to be untalented, no one would give a spot to anyone at a cabaret show if she had no talent.

What Broadway theatre has the biggest stage?  Mar 16 2018, 10:02:31 PM

I'd dare to guess the Broadway Theater or the Gershwin?
