DIANA TO TRANSFER Aug 15

FINALLY, a show not replacing Jeanna for Broadway. This poor girl keeps on doing the out-of-town tryouts and then being replaced for Broadway. BRAVO TO HER AND THE CREATIVE TEAM!! She is SO talented and it’s about damn time!

“I’m Just Movin’” from WORKING seems to fit what you’re looking for.

I just loooove her voice, love to watch her. She was such a standout in Fun Home at the Public (still prefer and play her recordings), and her performance of the song “Good Girl” in Head

They had a 7:30 show tonight, so it’s probably only just ending now.

My heart is so broken over this. The world needs this musical now more than ever. This is what happens when the underdog doesn’t win the Tony. The big musical that doesn’t need ticket sales always wins.
Mental illness and working in theatre Jun 6

Patti Murin has taken several personal days during ‘Frozen’ to deal with her mental health. I applaud her for being brave enough to talk about it so publicly and hope her words help other people struggling know that even Disney princesses and Broadway stars can suffer from a very human disease.
As for an “extended leave of absence due to mental health issues”, I have no idea how that works.
In case anyone is wondering, you cannot walk up five minutes before showtime or sometime in the afternoon and get tickets anymore. We arrived at 6 AM today (we were the first in line) and people started arriving pretty steadily about a half hour later. By 10 AM the line was all the way down the block. Although I would say that most of the tickets must’ve been gone before 9, based on the size of the crowd.
NETWORK - standing room Jun 4
2019, 03:27:27 PM
Hey! Has anyone tried standing room for Network recently? I know its probably harder this week because theres nothing but premium seats left, which means they probably arent giving out any rush. What time did you get there for standing room if youve gone recently? Thank you so much!

Thank you for the replies everyone! I’m so glad that Julie and Kristine seem so down to earth! :)
If it was just for me, I wouldn’t care about this at all. I don’t need his autograph. I just want to watch his performance and that’s it. But I’m going to buy my brother the window card and hope for the best! I already explained to him that he might not come out, but that we should have a good shot at meeting the other two stats, who are equally hilarious and wonderful in the play. Or if we get there early enough MAYBE I’ll explain my situation to the s

Also, that's a good idea to ask security stage door before the show. It doesn't hurt to try since the worst case scenario is for them to decline the request. Good luck!
As for Beetlejuice, maybe they ran out? When I saw it during previews they had the sippy cup all in black/white in Beetlejuice colors.

Yeah, I was told they ran out. We did get Beetleju
If you live local, I’d try to buy it before or after the play at the store nearbyto avoid shipping costs."
Yes, we do live locally! I wonder if getting a poster early and sending it backstage with a note to Nathan might work.
Nathan Lane - GARY stage door recently May 28

Thanks, guys! It’s actually my second trip to the show (his first!) and he loves those souvenir sippy cups so we will definitely be getting a soda each before the show starts. We were so upset at Beetlejuice the other night when they didn’t have any ha ha.
I think I remember seeing a Gary window card but I might be wrong. If there is one, I’m gonna buy it for him either way (it’s his first Broadway non-musical, so it will be a nice memory regardless) and if we get lucky with Nathan gre
Hi all! I couldnt find a recent thread on this. Im taking my 13-year-old brother to see Gary tonight as he is completely obsessed with Nathan Lane. He cant wait to see him on stage!
I thought as an extra bonus Id buy him the window card and Id love to surprise him and take him to the stage door for an autograph, something he really doesnt know much about. Its not something I usually do either, but it would be so cool for him.
"...called me a hot and tranny mess" from "Story of my Life"
The Scientologist line from "Freak Flag."
That said, I love that show."
Not nuts not about the Scientologist line either, but the hot and tranny mess is one of the most amazing rhyme schemes I’ve ever heard! Absolute brilliance!!
