Saw it last week and thought it to be incredibly lackluster and in some cases woefully miscast, with this being (I would surely hope) the only time in Kelli O’Hara’s career we will ever be able say she was truly awful in anything. One of the finest interpreters of the R&H catalogue she is, but comedienne she is NOT. Everything about her performance felt so incredibly lifeless, humorless and incr
Sorry, it probably should have read "plus any other jukebox musical" not on my list. That did not mean that the list only had jukebox musicals on it. Poorly written.

Please explain to me how King Kong, Aladdin, Frozen, and Mean Girls are jukebox musicals...?
I am completely baffled by the bad reviews both by people on this site and critics. I found the show to be poignant, heartbreakingly beautiful, magical, and haunting.
The cast, costumes, scenic and lighting design, choreography and direction were absolutely stellar. Such a unique and special evening of theatre.
Exactly how partial view are the rush tickets from TodayTix for this show? Im a little worried that at such a low price we would miss a whole lot of the performance. Thanks in advance!

Are posters in this thread even serious? Gaga is obviously Broadway material, there’s not even a question about it.

I don't know that it "fixes" anything to make minor tweaks and changes to try and fool the audience and conceal the misogyny (or whatever it is) that's inherent in the material. It really doesn't help that nearly every major musical revival is directed by men (and often the same three or four men). I think ther

KISS ME, KATE (2019 Roundabout Revival) - Previews Feb 15

I’m not going to comment on this production because it was the first preview and it has a LONG way to go. The show is very special and personal to me, so I also have to take that into consideration.
Anyway, I just wanted to answer CATSNYrevival’s questions:
1) “From This Moment On” is used in the same place as the last revival.
2) Nope, no overture or opening announcement. The house lights go dim and the curtain rises on the ghost light.

2 hours and 45 minutes is ridiculously long, especially for a teeny bopper musical! What is this, The Ferryman? Lol.
I realize this post sounds like a cranky old man wrote it (I’m 34), so I’m guessing this show isn’t for me haha.

It looks like tonight is a sold out house. Do they put a few seats aside for rush or will they only be offering the morning rush line standing room? Thanks!

Hi there! I couldnt find anything about closing week in particular. Im getting there at 8 AM (in the freezing cold lol) and was wondering if that would be too late to score 2 rush tickets or two standing room tickets for an evening show? Thank you so much!

You are correct, however I just have to point out that it isn’t a “hobby” - it’s their profession.

Does anybody know if they sell standing room tickets even when the show isnt sold out? Id honestly much rather stand for this show than be cramped in a tiny seat with no leg room for over three hours.
