Thinking about heading to London for Christmas (if things are safe to do so) and noticing not that much announced yet. Any rumors of what might be on stage at National Theatre? I see SPRING AWAKENING was announced at Almedia so that sparks joy
Any other Major productions that have yet to announce?
In December I’m most excited for “Cabaret” with Eddie Redmayne. I already have tix for “Ocean at the End of the Lane”, “Moulin Rouge”, The Drifters Girl” (Beverly Knight is one of the UK theatres greatest voices), “Life of Pi” and “Get Up” (the Bob Marley musical). Over the next couple months l, I’m sure some big shows will be announced and probably a few Pantos with some pretty big names, I’d imagine.

I hope so. When i went again the other night, it was “full” (socially distanced sold out) and the audience response was pretty great. I really do love that show - definitely my favorite ALW score since “Sunset Blvd”.
just snagged some good seats for a Wed matinee before Christmas. I hope they are both in the show for that matinee - and those prices! Looks like food comes with it so that aint bad

Makes sense. But I saw yesterday that they are wanting people who have had it to get vaccinated as an extra precaution. Although, that is here, not there.
Wonder if they will do this at The Lyric and Hudson?
The current policies about proof of vaccination, etc. (which obviously may change between now and December) for Delfont Mackintosh and ATG theaters, respectively, are at:
if you have a few days to spare- Check out BACK TO THE FUTURE, THE DRIFTERS GIRL, &JULIET, and would love to hear about THE SHARK IS BROKEN (behind the scenes making of JAWS) - Cheers and hope you can make it over!
Long time lurker, first time commenter-- I'm from the US and have a trip planned to Paris at the end of March/beginning of April (covid permitting, obviously). I'm a huge Cabaret fan and would love to hop over and see it but it ends a few weeks before I get there. I'm more familiar with Broadway... is an extension likely on the West End? Should I give up hope entirely or keep an ear to the ground? Would ideally like to see Eddie Redmayne, and I know that the bigger the star the less likely they are to stick around for a long time, so just trying to manage my expectations.
Hi! Who knows where we will be in by March - thinking optimistically - in the meantime i'd imagine Eddie wont extend his contract. But in this wolrd - who really knows hwat is going on
