Just streamed this...WOW!   Almost every number is a highlight,,,loved Dame Edna doing Sondheim, Isabel Huppert was so much fun singing Can-Can, the Guys- David Alan Grier and Norm Lewis were great singing about the Dolls.  Sum it up in two words:  That's Entertainment.

Annaleigh Ashford should play Adelaide opposite David Alan Grier and Norm Lewis in "Guys and Dolls"...she is pure enchantment.  For me, highlights were Jake Gyllenhaal doing King Arthur so beautifully, Jessie Mueller singing "On a Clear Day" (one of the truly great title songs in the show), Isabelle Huppert so surprising-- she can sing-- and so wonderfully infectious doing "Can-Can" and Patti LuPone starting off the show with a great "Anything Goes".

I watched this on Sunday night and enjoyed it quite a lot. But oddly enough, the three numbers you mentioned are exactly the ones I liked the least. No disrespect, just personal preference. I especially loved Jessie Mueller's On A Clear Day, I NEED this in audio format so I can replay over and over again. The revival was a flop, but I really wish they had released a cast recording, because Harry and Jessie singing that score was heavenly. Other highlights for me include: Gavin & Will singing Hair, She Loves Me by Annaleigh Ashford, Eva Noblezada's jazzy Lady Be Good, and some rare gems I've never heard before, like Purlie, No Strings, Fade Out Fade In. Really all the performances were great! Kelli singing Piazza, Stephanie singing Cabaret, Jake Gyllenhaal singing Camelot, I can go on.

This was such a surprise.  Didn't know what to expect and there was just one wonderful number after another.  I loved the "Mame" tribute to Angela Lansbury and then to hear her sing at the end of the show- so lovely.  Some songs I didn't know were real surprises:  the lovely Richard Rodgers "No Strings" sung by Steven Pasquale and Phillipa Soo; the gorgeous Charles Strouse ballad "Golden Boy" sung by Kerry
Butler and Strouse's "Dance a Little Closer" (Glenn Close).   And to hear originals like Leslie Uggams and Melba Moore doing "Hallelujah Baby" and "Purlie"-wow.  Did Jerry Herman know that his Dear World title song could be a pandemic anthem?  So vividly and powerfully performed by Vanessa Williams.  And so many more- from the ever captivating Isabelle Huppert to the always smashing Patti Lupone.  I intend to watch it again.

And what did the Dame sing, pray tell?

Anyone Can Whistle.  And she was rudely interrupted by the Queen. Vintage Dame Edna.

Her rendition of "Whistle" was both poignant and funny- loved her gesture when she sang "can slay a dragon any old week, easy"... I thought Darren Criss's "Fade Out-Fade In" was a surprise highlight, wasn't really familiar with the song--but he was so winning and boy can he strum a guitar to great effect.  I saw the show again on Wednesday and was truly impressed by Jake Gyllenhaal's "Camelot".
