Should be announced soon- not sure if this is any sort of a hint, but the person playing Jenna deserves it more than any other person in the show’s history I can think of.

I'm thinking that there may have been some SVOG money left after the Broadway run, and that may be covering some, or all, of the cost on this, yielding an almost unheard of minimum salary for a pair of rooms this small. This also may be a pilot functionality for the property to look at the feasibility of delivering the whole show in smaller spaces, before some further international expansion.
And the show starts rehearsal on March 14, per the casting call, so I wouldn't expect much in terms of official casting new until then.
I just got an email from Waitress for these Charlotte and Cleveland stops and the picture they using a new pic of Stephanie Torns as Jenna. Not sure if this means she's Jenna or not, but I thought it should be noted. Also, let me know if you guys cant see the picture.
Yeah the picture with Stephanie really confused me. Would she even be there if she wasn’t being considered to lead a production of Waitress somewhere? I highly doubt they’d just put her there. So…I’m hoping she’s leading the other tour going out!
Officially announced! Interesting to see some people have never been involved with the show, but so exciting nonetheless. Also I think it’s great to see dawn is going to Asian actress again

This shouldn't be called a tour. It's playing only two cities. Should just be named the regional premier of the show with the two theaters co-producing it
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

When will AEA take care of this? It's their job to make these tours UNION. I have no problem with non-union actors as I rep many of them, but AEA....it's time to stretch any muscles you have left on this issue!
Actors Equity and the waitress producers have finally reached a settlement; The performers and stage managers from the non-equity tour will be compensated accordingly for their work.
