Just came back from the matinee today and it was FANTASTIC! Literally loved every minute and would totally see it again. Everyone is fantastic and it was such an interesting story. It did not feel dated by any means, I guess the only thing that dates the show is the type of phone they use, but that's it.
As for stagedoor, everyone came out, which I was surprised about since it was a matinee, but they were all literally the nicest and sweetest guys!
Just came back from seeing it today. I've never seen the show live, but I knew the basic plot and some of the songs. But, during the ENTIRE show I kept thinking "I wonder what Bart Sher would've done..."
There were some directorial choices, which were CHOICES LOL:
1. The carousel, it was very meta. I looked past the fact that there were no horses and the ensemble was just dancing, but the entire time I kept thinking "Why are Jul
Are the cheapest seats $65-$75? Just wondering since on the side it says ticket prices range from $35 to $140, but I can't seem to find any $35 tickets on any day....could it be referring to the TodayTix Lotto it says it will have?
Does anyone know how much has changed since the first preview? I saw it on first preview and my friends want me to go with them next week, was just curious if a lot or if anything has even changed.
Sorry for the late notice but one of the people that were supposed to come with me legit CANCELLED 2 days before the show and now I’m here desperately trying to find someone to come this Saturday!
So I’m selling ONE of my tickets. The ticket is going to be with me and a group of my friends in Balcony Row F! We are cool and chill college students.
I originally had a ticket for Wednesday, the day of the snow storm, so I called them and they gave me a Snow Comp ticket for yesterday's performance. I thought it was a good show. I love seeing this pretty much fully realized revival, much like Brigadoon and most of Assassins! I went in knowing nothing except for infamous "We'll Take A Glass Together," which, if you were curious, brought down the house, yesterday. I'm not sure if it was because I was really tir
My friend gave me a free ticket to the show last Thursday and it was okay. Not great, not good, just okay. I left the show thinking I just watched the extended director's cut of the movie where they added back the "meh" things that were supposed to be in the movie. The set was serviceable but could've been A LOT more. It felt a lot of the time the characters were standing on an empty stage, with some random set pieces. This worked for shows like Angels in America and ot
I have a ticket to Grand Hotel tomorrow and I already feel like its going to be a bitch to travel to the city from Queens.

Just got back! I had a great time. It is a fun night at the theatre! I think what really made the show was the palpable energy from the audience. We all honestly ate it up.
As a first preview, it didn’t seem like one. Nothing seemed to go wrong and the cast was ON FIRE! Kate Rockwell and Ashley Park had the audience eating out of their hands. Tina Fry’s book is great, I was literally laughing the entire time. The songs were good, most not memorable, but they were good. I left the theat
I'll be at the first preview tomorrow! Will report back! :)

Have they added the two songs that weren’t at first previews? I’m debating if I want to try to rush tonight or wait for later in previews.
