You have to pay for how this website should be functioning in the first place!?!! What the heck?

I understand the need for the site to draw revenue, but the idea of paying anything for this site’s features is laughable.

Do we have the option to not sign up and/or pay?

We do?

OK.  Glad we had this talk

^haha. Right?

I will probably sign up only because I know they need the money. There are not enough perks for 99% of people though. Like, getting the latest news on Broadway shows? And being able to enter a drawing for show tickets? Cool. Broadway isn't opening for half a year so......

I think the free coffee mug with the Pro membership is really going to get the industry's attention.

I get that they need ad revenue but with the implicit recognition that the intrusive videos are something that one would pay to avoid, one must ask why they exist in the first instance. They are not a revenue stream. Are they just a form of digital sadism?

And I would imagine that a substantial portion of their ad revenue comes from shows. How will they feel when avid users of the site will be able to avoid the very ads those shows want the users of this site to see?

I just signed up here and definitely enjoying the experience of having some ads (which I don't mind) but less. I also really like the alerts feature which I set up for a few stars I never want to miss on stage, screen or stream.

and I'll admit it... I got the mug.

I’m a sucker for a mug.

I am big. It’s the REVIVALS that got small.

There are certain circumstances where I prefer free with ads.
