I suppose we don’t want to speak too soon in case it’s 2016 again but I hope this restores some faith in the democratic process.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

We probably won't know until Friday due to the delays in Nevada, Georgia and Pennsylvania. But #45 has already demanded a recount in Wisconsin and is trying to stop late ballots from counting in Pennsylvania. Who knows when it'll actually be official.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I love how the OP has to place BLAME on WRONGDOING.

I believe Trump will win NC, Georgia and Alaska which would give him 248 electoral votes. He would have to also win Pennsylvania and Nevada to go over 270 which I feel is very unlikely. Even with recount in Wisconsin and possibly Michigan, it is highly doubtful the result will change. All this will do is delay the official result.

I also think he'll win NC and AK (although AK is still only 50% done counting, but I still think it'll be his), but GA is still WAY too close for comfort and they still have some counting to do from urban areas. I just did math as it stands right now in GA, and it's THAT close that if everyone who voted third party there, voted for Biden it would have been blue by now....and that irks me, that's exactly why it was begged to not vote third party.

Your party is entirely reliant on gerrymandering and the archaic Electoral College to maintain power despite being the minority of voters.

Kad:  My party?  You've got to be kidding.  I voted for Gore and Obama.  I vote strictly upon issues.  And on that,Trump is a great president, accomplishing everything from excellent trade deals, the three new peace deals, lowering taxes, commiting 500 billion to Black communities, 250 million to black colleges across the country, creating the Hispanic Opportunity Initiative, appointing a constitutionist judge to the Supreme court, making America energy independent, and of course, leading the economy to historic numbers.  In my mind, anyone who votes against all this accomplishment is either ignorant or has a screw loose in their head.

What about the issue of Coronavirus?

U.S. Cases:     9.65M

U.S. Deaths:    235K

These appalling numbers can be laid directly at the feet of Trump and all those like YOU who support him and vote for him.  People are sick and dying and dead because of Trump, and yet you continue to praise him.  Disgusting.

Highland Guy:  Again, a misinformed individual.  How about doing some reading before posting nonsense on the internet?  Firstly, the virus originated in China. Secondly, the President acted fairy quickly, banning travel from China.  Trump also acted fairly quickly mobilizing the resources of industry and government.  Ventilators by the tens of thousands were made by many companies.  A large hospital ship was brought into New York. Work on vaccines is proceeding.  Numerous companies are in the last stages of testing of the vaccines.  Additionally, excellent results have been obtained by various drug combos like Hydroxyxchloroquine, Zinc and Azthromycin, and also Ivermectin in combo with zinc and antibotics.  Additionally, antibody treatments have been created and even used on the President.  Now as to the disease for itself.  For most healthy people is is not lethal at all.  In fact the recovery rate is above 98%.  It is the very elderly and people with compromised health that it can be deadly.  These are the people we have to protect.  Would you like to talk chemistry now?  I am a degreed analytical and toxicology chemist.  I have experience in forensic chemistry as well as doing research in the infectious diseases ward of Hines VA Hospital in Illinois.  Highland Guy, can you provide you qualifications? Any degree or training in the medical sciences?

I hope you're right. But this country has such a long history of it and they'll probably just go back underground. I live in a red state and I still see Confederate flags from time to time, which is why I live in the bluest city.

>>Firstly, the virus originated in China. Secondly, the President acted fairy quickly, banning travel from China.

First of all... Over 400k people had already came from China by time he did his travel ban. 40k people came from China since his travel ban. And do you think the only people travel from is China? Really? Are we that self centered that we can't think of the big picture that people from China weren't going anywhere other than the US that keeping travel from Europe open was a good idea? Like... My god, that people keep needing to go to an ineffectual travel ban as an accomplishment is incredibly sad. And now what's sadder is that Trump is literally going to have to be escorted off the property because you asshats have fed into his delusions. I hope your proud of yourself and him because you're 2 in the same...

Not to mention that in the immediate aftermath of the travel "ban" our government lost track of over 1600 American citizens who had returned from foreign travel and were supposed to be closely monitored as they were at a high risk of carrying the virus.

The virus was first reported as having spread to Europe by the end of January. The first confirmed case in the US was at the same time on January 21st. His "ban," which only blocked Chinese nationals and not US citizens who were returning from China, went into effect two weeks later. Travel to and from Europe, where the virus was gaining a strong foothold, wasn't banned for nearly a month and a half (he announced it on March 11th, without even having had the courtesy of warning the affected countries, and also failing to initially include the UK and Ireland even though they were struggling with the pandemic at the time).

He lied from the start, and just about every action he took just bungled the matter further, since he couldn't even tell the truth.
