Yes, RoXy was definitely the villain and sh*t-stirrer of Season 5, but she was practically Miss Congeniality of All Stars 2. I still think she's a queen of limited talents, but it was nice to see her own her bad behavior, and to see a more pleasant side of her.

Also, I just rewatched Season 9. and I had forgotten how much I disliked Alexis Michelle.

I just couldn’t get past season 5 RoXy when watching her All Stars season. I just hated her every second she was on screen.

And I’m in the minority - I really don’t get the hate for Alexis. I know people despise her but I don’t understand why.

Alexis is mostly harmless, but she was uncomfortably delusional on Season 9.

And that ugly little moment when Alexis went Roxxy Andrews on Cracker, trying to get into her head with suggestions that people were talking about her.  And Alexis' general decline in talent over the years -- she's gained in chins what she lost in charm.

Maybe just me but this doesn't seem like the most interesting choices for All Stars.  A few of them I didnt like on their original series.

I like this lineup much more than Season 5's, and several of them were on my list of who I'd like to see/who would be good TV. Sad not to see Heidi N Closet, although I remember reading that she turned it down. I'd have preferred Laganja and Plastique Tiara in place of Jiggly and Sonique, but, otherwise, I think it's a solid cast.

I've heard the same cast rumors. I don't think any of them are an "all star," save maybe Yara Sofia.  They really should've waited for a few more regular seasons before shooting another All Star season.

I saw a producers run of Ginger in the cancelled “Xanadu” tour and she (and Jinx) had me in stitches! I think she’s hilarious! And so talented, but for some reason makes wrong choices on the show? (Like remember her first all star moment? Why pick a serious song?) but surprised they are giving her a third chance?
 

And I read that Drag Race is shooting in Atlanta! And they’re all quarantining before shooting. Not sure if it’s a regular season or an all stars.

I’m curious if they’ll be doing the new season right before or after All-Stars, since crew etc will all be there in quarantine.

Take the article with a grain of salt but supposedly filmed of UK 2 was underway when Covid hit.

"Filming was already underway at Pinewood Studios, but a source told The Sun that continuing production was “deemed far too risky” with contestants, talent, and production teams all on set."

“At the moment the plug has been pulled completely on the show and as it stands, the second series of Drag Race is on hold,” said the source. “It’s awful for everyone involved, people aren’t working and the studios are empty. But obviously the health of everyone on the show comes first.”

Seems like an easy-ish show to do during these weird times. I mean the cast is pretty much quarantined as is and the judges are seated far enough away. I think they could make it work.

SH*T.... This season is going to be 12 episodes long with reportedly 14 Girls. The newest one in the mix is.... *Drum Roll* Shannel! And... Panama Queen Serena Cha Cha!
