I was hoping to meet Alice Ripley at the stage door after BABY this spring. I realize its off broadway and its not your typical setting. I was just wondering if anyone has met Alice since the Next 2 Normal hoopla. If autographs or meeting people is totally off her list since. Thanks.

I know of people who have met her since N2N but she didn’t come out when I saw her during American Psycho.

I met her after seeing her in American Psycho and she couldn't have been more sweet. She signed for everybody and took pictures to. We spent about five minutes talking about theater and she gave me a lot of great advice. She seems like a really sweet person. .  Sometimes at regional theaters Big Broadway stars are more approachable.

I remember seeing an interview with her, Laura Benanti and I forget who else on YouTube where they talked about their stage door experiences and Alice saying how much she enjoyed it. Laura, not so much. Lolzz

I’ve met Alice three times since 2013 and she’s always a delight. The last time my friend and I were the only ones waiting (in 17 degree weather) and she was kind enough to invite us inside the stage door to warm up and proceeded to chat with us/sign/take pictures for about 20 minutes. She’s a class act.

At the height of her N2N run, she would not do photos. However, if you waited for the crowd to thin out she would start to allow photos. She was very sweet.

I've met her many times at stage doors and concerts and she is easily among the nicest actors. I think the N2N fans were intense, but since that has cooled she is much more at ease. She will actually look you in the eye, converse with you, and is appreciative. If she comes out that means she is able and willing to greet fans.

Agree.  Couldn't been nicer and sweeter.  I saw her right before the Tony awards.  I guess it also helped we were a "crowd" of about eight.  She told me she recognized me from the audience (I had front row rush) and asked me why I was so emotional during the show.  Then we talked about my mother's alzheimers.  One of the nicest people.
