Yes they did. Others can comment on the exact timing but they added in the projections a few (maybe more now) years ago. "They" also added some new jokes/dialogue.

I absolutely love her- but thought it was a terrible show. Bee or no bee-it was rough. 

Does anyone have any information about the LA run of this?

I would pay to see a filmed version in theatres.

I'm excited for this. I saw her perform with Shoshana Bean in LA a few months ago and she sounded fantastic. 

Is it crazy to say Glen Close Sunset? I was almost SURE we were going to get that last year...

I base this guess on...nothing. 

I too do not want to lose my excellent seats. They have allowed me to drop 1 show in the past. Do you think they will allow this now that the mini deadline is over, and the amazing offer of a free magazine subscription is no more? I wonder if they become more flexible more towards the hard deadline. 

 

 

Is there an Equity contract that would allow it to play a non equity house (such at the Civic Arts Plaza) and only do 5 night stays?

Personally- I know several. Does this hurt their sales? How about the other way around? 

I am so happy to have seen this production. It has completely wiped the memory of the (terrible) tour a few years back. Everyone at the Pasadena Playhouse should be proud of what they accomplished in there. Absolutely beautiful on so many levels.

I'm shocked that the same show (Book of Mormon) that is playing the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza this year is included in my subscription at the Ahmanson. Sounds like a filler show to me...

 

Could Torch Song go to the Taper? 

I saw Shoshana in concert last week in LA and she was in great shape, vocally. She reached notes with ease and sounded phenomenal. The audiences are getting a real treat. 

I'm in the "I hated it" camp. I sincerely thought it was one of the worst things I've seen. HOWEVER- I am fascinated (and respect) how split people are on this. Even in this thread it's 50/50.

Is anyone going to the taping? I just found that I am and I am curious what to expect. 

Pantages is announcing Feb 5th and the season will include shows the Dolby. I have mixed feelings about that.
