I think the ads you get are generated by Google based upon whatever is in your device's cookies- though odd things pop up. When I was in Utah at Zion Canyon in 2018 I suddenly got a lot of ads for Russian mail order brides - which made me wonder if some are location specific?

I think inception is correct, it may very well be google generated ads based upon what you've look up in the past or cookies and what not.

That being said, the ads on this site are becoming insufferable. I open the webpage the a video taking up the ENTIRE screen. BWW you're so blatant lol but it makes your website absolutely horrendous to use and browse.

The auto-play, pop-up videos on this site are absolutely maddening, especially when pages are viewed on a mobile device. It's gotten so frustrating that I often just shut the page down as soon as the videos pop up; no content is worth that aggravation to me.

As I understand it, a site that provides google ads or the like access (and is paid for doing so) can preclude ads categorically. That's all I am asking for. As to the insufferable ads, yes I agree it is worse than almost any other website, but that is their choice. Our choice is to use a browser or browser feature that hides most or all of them, or to not patronize the site.  (or to suffer) The particular ad that prompted my post is not one that has appeared anywhere else, and is not one that i am willing to see.

Yes, it's all generated by google. Notice how you can press "X" on most of them. It's because it's auto generated.

If you have a problem with it, press the x in the top right and report the ad.

I haven't seen a single political ad.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

We do indeed block political ads of all kinds via our advertising partners, but none of those systems are perfect and many rely on the advertiser themselves picking their category and other oddities.

That said, if you do see any of them you can a) hit the little 'x' to report it and stop it from following you around the web, and b) send a screenshot to us (contact@broadwayworld.com) and we can report it here as well.

Our ads folks believe they fixed the video ones that were going haywire, but if not - please email us as well (screenshots help) along with what type of browser (chrome/safari) or device and we will poke them appropriately.

If it occurs again I will take a screen shot but the ad that I got was in a PIP that appeared to originate via a vendor I had never noticed before (and unfortunately did not save the name of)

I have not seen any more political ads, but I was able to find your vendor for the pip window; it is anyclip. I don't if that helps trace it back but I hope so.
