I was at Come from Away on Saturday night. (The show was great!) A few minutes before the show started, there was some cheering in the back of the orchestra and a bunch of audience members were standing up, apparently looking at someone else in the audience. I asked at the stage door, and the cast members hadn't heard about anyone famous being there that night.
I realize that this is a long shot, but does anyone know who the cheering was for?
"What was the name of that cheese that I like?"
"you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start"
"well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"
Apparently from what I've read, the Clintons saw Oslo on Saturday. I do not know if they were at the matinee or evening performance, but I do know that they often did two show days, so perhaps they had seen Oslo in the afternoon and CFA that evening.

As far as we could tell the ushers were just getting the audience pumped up. We went to the stage door after and the cast all came out and left pretty quickly (they were going to a Canada Day celebration) which, from my general experience, they usually hang out backstage longer if someone famous was in the audience and is meeting them afterward. The entire cast told us that they'd rated that nights audience top 5 ever, though. The first person who said it I assumed was just having fun but everyone said the same thing independently.
