These are awesome (and so are the early sketches). I especially like the one where the title is kong's fangs - creative use of text.
"In 1991, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s latest, Aspects of Love was in trouble. The show was an intimate salon opera overproduced in epic proportions in the West End and Broadway, because, well, that was what you did with Lloyd Webber shows (Cats and Phantom of the Opera). Drabinsky brought it to Phillips and the Citadel. The road show was failing – smothering in its own unwieldy bulk. It took 16 trucks to carry it from town to town.

Actually, it launched at the Citadel in Edmonton when Robin Phillips was artistic director. A friend of mine was one of the stage managers - she was staying at my house. I got daily reports on rehearsals. She was constant
Ya got me. In my defence, it isn't April 1st yet in my time zone.

They were both so adorable. It seems to me the two stills they showed of shows Victor was in were mislabeled - maybe switched. Sweeney Todd did not look at all like Sweeney Todd and I forget what the other one was. Did anyone catch it?

Strange how we get addicted to our rituals. I've been refreshing my screen every 15 seconds.
I have programs from the Citadel run of Hadestown. I only discovered today that I had a bunch of pm's from folks who wanted them (I didn't have email notification checked in my personal preferences), so if you pm'd me, I replied to you today. If anyone else wants one, pm me with your zip or postal code and I'll let you know what postage will cost.

I'll be going to the final performance on Dec. 3rd - they added a Sunday evening show that day. I'll see if I can pick up a bunch of programs for anyone who wants one. I'd like to trade for a CFA Playbill (pride rainbow cover would be awesome) - all others will have to pay postage.

I wasn't able to go to the pay-what-you-can performance last weekend because of an unfortunate situation but I'm going to try to go before the end of the run. If I do, I'd be happy to grab you a program.
There's a law that any movie shot in Newfoundland has to have Mary Walsh in it.
Whaddaya mean "kinda true?"
LOL"
There's no actual law, but she does seem to be in everything set in Nfld. Other Newfoundland actors I wouldn't be surprised to see in this movie (in walk ons, at least): Mark Critch, Cathy Jones, Andy Jones, Rick Mercer, Shaun Majumder, and, of course, Gordon

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to go tonight because of a family emergency. Maybe later in the run.
