Is there really no discussion? In theory it sounds 'cute', but upon actual inspection, it's horrific. Not horrific in the same way as David Hasselhoff's performance in Jekyll & Hyde, but actually, truly terrifying.

HAHAHA. I had been ignoring that link, and just clicked on it...and I must know who directed this incredible cinematic masterpiece of a music video.

That was atrocious.

I really hope this child goes to a performing arts school. If not, school must be a terror for him.

His website refers to him as a "child prodigy" who has an "undeniable genetic advantage over other performers."

Poor child. Seems like his mother (and grandmother) could put Madame Rose to shame for worst stage parent.

Is that Eydie Gormé playing the role of the grandmother?

I think the creepy little kid that lip syncs to brittany spears and katy perry is better.

And since Jackie Evancho an America's Got Talent finalist who I have with no love at all dubbed LOG came from You Tube you can bet that this kid will be the next to follow suit for AGT in 2011.

I don't really think putting a supportive, loving speech before "Defying Gravity" is a good directorial choice.

Jimmy, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? It's almost 9 PM!

Who cares if the video is bad. It's a home video but better than a lot we have seen. Granted, the concept does not go with the song. The boy sings better than most 9 year olds I know. Wonderful that he has the support he has from his family. I think he sounds great.

Just give the world Love.

I'll admit, I gave it a thumbs down. It's not the singing, it was the entire video. The beginning, the whole little girl and the Titanic pose. It was weird.

...and the weird autotune. The whole thing was so manufactured.

The registrar of the domain of the company that made the video belongs to his mother:

http://www.lisadawnmiller.com/ - It's all a bit over the top for a 'home video'. (I.e., it's not 'just' a home video)

I agree about a performing arts school :P, that girl-pose (probably his sister) cannot hide that lisp.

Oh no. Here he is at 7-years-old performing the song live dressed as a witch.

Who would do this to do a 7-year-old boy?

The autotune was crazy. Also, I watched that 7-year-old video, and that was just sad. Why would you ever do that? It's terrible.

No. It's Eartha Kitt.

CREEPY!
