Great cast. Those are some killer voices. Excited to see this.

Man, I want this revival to come to Broadway so badly!!! Circle in the Square would be perfect for it!!!

If you can get here to see it on Broadway, why can't you just see it at St. Ann's in Brooklyn?  It's not that far away.

It's always curious to me how in the US something has to end up on "Broadway" in order to somehow be thought of as successful. In London we have so many more avenues of what constitutes successful theatre. This revival sounds absolutely fascinating and it sounds like St. Ann's is the perfect place for it. Why does it have to go to Broadway?

I’m finding more and more that my favorite shows are ones that are Off Broadway. Occasionally they end up on Broadway, and I am happy that more people see them, but they often lose something in the transfer.

Hey JSquared! I actually don't live in New York (and not planning any trips there soon, hehe!) I just want to see this revival make it to Broadway from what I've heard about it Daniel Fish-Directed OKLAHOMA! Lassos its Way to St. Ann's Warehouse

Between this, Girl From the North Country, The Secret Life of Bees, and the Merrily We Roll Along revival, this is turning out to be an exciting season for Off Broadway musical theatre.

I know no one will probably have the answer to this, but there are a few partial view seats for Oklahoma, and the price is good, but not sure why they'd be partial? The pictures from the previous production don't look like there's any big set and St. Ann's can be configured however they want, so why have some partial views?

These seats are apparently seated behind the band, so it’s probably obstructed. I don’t imagine they’re bad seats, but can you imagine some of those old farts complaining the band was in their way the whole show if they had not been labeled partial view and discounted?

Got my tickets in the cornbread and chili tier and I’m so excited.

Oh I’m 6’2 so that shouldn’t be an issue but might spring for a better seat

Just bought tickets, and the partial view seats are noted as being behind a pole, no mention of being seated behind the band.

many dates sold out or selling well - with the show starting in a month.

Today an extension of two weeks.  Until Oct. 11.

Got my ticket in the TodayTix fire sale a few days ago, and it was labeled "On-Stage Seating." Looking at the seating chart, there are no seats on stage - do you think I just got table seating? Or is this immersive?

Also, to ColorTheHours048, what's the "cornbread and chili tier"?

I’m wondering the same thing? I bought table seating as well.

Do we think this might be Broadway bound? I don’t remember a show that was this heavily advertised at St. Ann’s?

I got a survey a few weeks ago asking about various aspects of this production and how I think I’d react to them as a potential broadway production.

I was misinformed. My husband told me he got seats in the front row where the chili was served and I assumed it meant there was a separate ticket price for it. But it just means that the cornbread and chili served to the whole audience will be easier to eat at a table, which is the front row seatjng.

There was food in the production at Bard. I imagine it will also be at St. Ann’s, but there’s no mention of it in any of the press releases or on the website. So maybe it was cut? That’d be a shame since I’ve been looking forward to it since the Bard production.

What would be funny is if it's 3 Damon Dannao projects that are all bidding for the circle in the Square for the Off-Broadway feel. Hadestown Oklahoma the lucky ones

from the NYT:

"There are limits to artistic freedom, though, and Mr. Fish exceeded them toward the end of his Bard production, when his treatment of a scene of fatal violence took Mr. Chapin by surprise. For St. Ann’s, he has instructed Mr. Fish to find a different way."

Have they made changes to the text for this production? I have to admit I haven't been following this at all and that video is surprising. Are the changes reflected in the text, the staging only, or both?
