this would be the second show with Wilson that had been rumored to transfer but didnt, the production he did of Thom Pain ended up at Signature last year but with Michael C Hall....not sure if he just isn't interested in New York or.....
at Hannah Gadsby show the other week this girl behind me and her boyfriend were CHOMPING their gum, like cows it was so unbelievably loud
and can people really not sit for 75 minutes without thumbing their program through a super quiet play
also unless the words out of your mouth are "i am having a heart attack" or a variation NOTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY IS MORE IMPORTANT THEN THE PEOPLE TALKING ONSTAGE!!!
there was a plan to transfer it last season and it feel apart, probably no chance of it happening atleast not with the original cast (one girl is gonna be on some NBC show I think)
to be fair American utopia is going to me more of a thematic live music experience so it will fall somewhere between a concert and a musical just more abstract and I mean seeing Byrne in such an inttimate venue
I saw HIGH, I have a shirt and everytime I wear it I send a photo to someone that worked on the show and they say "you probably are the only one that owns one" lol
this is being produced at the Daryl Roth right? so its entirely possible the show could extend...(although Broadway could be in the cards perhaps....)

However, after curtain call, oh boy. Joe Iconis came out and gave a really moving speech, addressing and highlightingmany praises and criticisms he and the show have received while on Broadway. He mentioned how the show had been “embraced, bullied, elevated, ignored, energized, and weirdly parodied.” He thanked the new, younger generation of theater audiences, he thanked the front of house for dealing with this crazy sho
