I'm pretty sure they filmed both Jackie and Crystal getting eliminated. They do that a lot on this show (usually during the finale). Basically they can't decide who's safe so they film both options. In the last few weeks, Crystal has become VERY popular online, so it makes sense that they'd let her be safe.
So this episode more than any other just proves why they should have shown the episodes as originally edited.
Also, yes Jackie clearly won the lip-sync but yeah there was no way in hell Ru was sending Crystal home. I’ve never seen Ru as head over heels in love with a contestant as she is with Crystal.
And I just have to say Gigi’s runway look was maybe one of my favorite looks ever. BRILLIANT.
I've never seen RuPaul so utterly in love with an entire group of contestants -- remember all those years ago when she told them all to step up and improve their games NOW -- "and I mean YOU, FeeFee!"
Still not entirely getting the love for Jada. Whatever. That Blue Genie outfit Crystal had on was a colossal error. Other Quirk Queens have been called out in the past for not doing at least one straight up Glam look.

I know some of you on here have problems with this season, but I’ve loved it pretty much beginning to end. (The less said about that first improv challenge, the better. Woof.) Definitely the best season since season 6, in my book. And when they finally got rid of Aiden, Brita, and Jan, there was so much less in the way of how fabulously and diversely talented these top queens are.
I’m still glad we didn’t get the Sherry Pie edit. I’ve found her totally obnoxious since the second she stepped in the workroom on the episode preview, and that was before the allegations blew up. She deserved to be shafted, but I’m also secretly glad she was for my own enjoyment of the season. Plus it means that other queens took up her screen time, and I’m happy about that.
I started this season as Team Gigi, transitioned briefly to Team Jaida, but at this point I think my money and heart are on Crystal. I’d still be happy with a Gigi win, but damn Crystal just kills me week after week. The winner last night should have been Crystal, but Gigi’s runway was so damn good, I understand how they went that way.
Yes Jackie was clearly better in the lip-synch, but the final LS is always based on their performance in the whole season as it's for a place in the finale and it was Crystal's first time in the bottom. Jackie should've gone home 3 weeks ago, so it's about time it finally caught up with her.
Ok E.P but nothing special. The right person won. The challenge performance was good. Crystal looked great and Gigi's runway was brilliant!
There is something about Jada that I love. I think it's because in her confessionals she is hilarious and honest, and then turns out this gorgeous look. And she brings it to her challenges. I was originally like, oh she goes home, but then they got to her verse and performance and she nailed it. She's hilarious and entertaining, and seems to be a good person.
I think Gigi will 100% win, especially with this Zoom finale format. But Crystal is the Shay of the season and will probably slay an All-Stars (like Heidi).

Crystal can only really be compared to two other people in drag race history - Katya and Tammy Brown, but even that feels unfair because I don't think genuinely unique artists like them can be compared to others. I really hope she doesn't get on All Stars for another 3-4 years because I want to see evolution.

I thought all the queens spoke and responded to questions quite naturally. On the other hand, RuPaul's responses to questions asked came across really flat. It is one thing to read a scripted question. Her responses came across scripted and not genuine. Nicky Doll carries a grudge and is still delusional. I was surprised how nice the NYC queens apartments were. Jackie's apartment really looked stylish with the brick wall. I would have thought a Hell's Kitchen smaller apartment would be kind of basic, even with decorative skills.
What a great cast for this season. Widow, Heidi, Jan and Jackie could easily have been top four, and I think even queens early-out like Rock and Nicky are great and have huge careers ahead of them! Personally, I'm pulling for Jaida to win this season, but I'd be very happy for Crystal as well.
Also, I know Gigi's final win kinda served as a tiebreaker for her and Jaida , but it's odd since there haven't been winners for final challenges in the past. (Otherwise Peppermint, Aquaria, and Yvie would have additional wins for their seasons, in my opinion!)

I’m hoping for Crystal but I had a thought today. Do you think Ru now takes who would be good tv in an All-Star season into consideration when crowning a winner? Like, if she would want more Crystal would she give the crown to Jaida, since winners don’t (typically) appear on AS?
I'd be okay with either Gigi or Jaida winning-- please let Crystal go home knowing just getting to top three is prize enough. (Frankly I don't need to see anymore of that clown queen whose drag is simply not what I would call drag-- sorry.) But my cards are truly on Jaida-- girl is a drag queen through and through and that's the kind of performer I want getting the crown. Give Gigi ten years to learn how to be extemporaneously funny on a stage and she'll be ready for her own crown. (All Stars number 23?)
