A dazzling celebration of song, dance, and the golden age of Broadway!
When small-town dreamer Ruby arrives in New York determined to become a star, she is swept into a whirlwind of romance, show business, and unexpected adventure. Inspired by the spectacular movie musicals of the 1930s, Dames at Sea is a high-energy musical comedy overflowing with unforgettable melodies, sparkling humor, and nonstop entertainment.
Featuring show-stopping tap numbers, spectacular choreography, and exhilarating dance throughout, this joyful production is a true showcase for musical theatre at its finest. Bursting with old-fashioned charm, larger-than-life characters, and infectious optimism, Dames at Sea is a fabulous dance musical that celebrates the excitement, glamour, and magic of putting on a Broadway show.
Not only is Classic Theatre of Maryland celebrating a decade of providing courageous and invigorating experiences for audiences, but the holiday season brings in two more reasons to celebrate: White Christmas and A Christmas Carol.
Classic Theatre of Maryland has announced its 2021/22 season which includes a line-up of original productions, including musicals, comedies and reinterpretations of classic plays. The company will be back at Reynold’s Tavern in the late spring of 2022.
