For years, A Christmas Carol has been the heart of Classic Theatre of Maryland's annual holiday celebration, welcoming generations of families to experience Charles Dickens' timeless story of hope, redemption, and the true spirit of Christmas.
This season, A Christmas Carol returns in rotating repertory with the Broadway musical Holiday Inn, creating a festive holiday repertory unlike anything else in Annapolis. From Black Friday through New Year's Weekend, audiences can enjoy two beloved holiday classics performed on alternating dates by our professional resident company.
Classic Theatre of Maryland favorite Dexter Hamlett returns as Ebenezer Scrooge, a role he has made his own since 2018. His heartfelt and compelling portrayal has become a cherished part of the holiday season for countless theatergoers, bringing depth, humor, and humanity to Dickens' unforgettable miser.
