A New Holiday Tradition Begins!
For years, audiences have made Classic Theatre of Maryland's annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol part of their family's Christmas tradition. This season, we are delighted to begin an exciting new chapter with the Annapolis premiere of the Broadway musical Holiday Inn.
Inspired by the beloved classic film and featuring the unforgettable music of Irving Berlin, Holiday Inn follows Jim Hardy as he leaves city life behind to open a charming country inn that celebrates each holiday with spectacular entertainment. Filled with romance, dazzling dance numbers, laughter, and beloved songs—including "White Christmas"—this joyous Broadway musical captures the warmth, nostalgia, and magic of the holiday season.
Performed in rotating repertory with A Christmas Carol from Black Friday through New Year's Weekend, Holiday Inn offers audiences a fresh Broadway experience while continuing the holiday traditions they have come to love at Classic Theatre of Maryland. Whether you choose one production or enjoy both, you'll experience two unforgettable celebrations of the season.
Not only is Classic Theatre of Maryland celebrating a decade of providing courageous and invigorating experiences for audiences, but the holiday season brings in two more reasons to celebrate: White Christmas and A Christmas Carol.
Classic Theatre of Maryland has announced its 2021/22 season which includes a line-up of original productions, including musicals, comedies and reinterpretations of classic plays. The company will be back at Reynold’s Tavern in the late spring of 2022.
